The UNIVERGET NEAX IPS-DML (Distributed Model Local) is a full-featured, IP-based communications system that is economically priced for a stand-alone IP solution for small businesses or small end-point in a CCIS network. The IPS-DML provides pure Voice over IP (VoIP) peer-to-peer connections across corporate, local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), and it also supports time division multiplexing (TDM).

Developed primarily for peer-to-peer IP switching of 10 to 80 IP telephones in the small stand-alone business, the UNIVERGE NEAX IPS-DML supports all the same features, functionality and applications of the UNIVERGE NEAX 2000 IPS, providing voice communication services and features not commonly found in many of today's IP-based telephone systems.

The UNIVERGE NEAX IPS-DML supports up to 128 peer-to-peer IP stations and 40 legacy TDM ports in a single modular chassis. Up to two chassis can be stacked providing maximum capacity of 80 legacy TDM ports. Utilizing the same line/trunk cards, application processor cards and software as the NEAX 2000 IPS, the NEAX IPS-DML also comes equipped for 19" rack mounting and offers superior port density with each chassis only occupying two Rack Units (2RU).
